American Legion Post 44 would like to ask our members and friends to keep longtime Legionnaire Bernard Lishinshy in their prayers.
Bernard (our longtime Assistant Adjutant) is currently staying at Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital of Scottsdale while recovering and regaining his strength. We are happy to report that Bernard is doing well and making progress every day.
Bernard has shared that he has been very pleased with the care he is receiving at Encompass Health and highly recommends the organization to others who may need their services.
We are hopeful that Bernard will be able to return home as early as Monday, September 14, or Tuesday, September 15.
Bernard has been an important part of Post 44 for many years, faithfully serving as our Assistant Adjutant and keeping accurate minutes for our Executive Board and General Membership meetings. His dedication and service to our Post are greatly appreciated.
Please join us in keeping Bernard in your thoughts and prayers as he continues his recovery. We look forward to seeing him back at Post 44 soon!
It’s members like Bernard who help us maintain our reputation as the… “Best Damn Post in the West!”
